Ashlee Simpson has an album coming out, nope she didn’t pack it in after being humiliated on Saturday Night Live a few years back, and she is looking for work outside the world of music.

“I’m definitely interested in going back to acting but it’s all about choosing the right roles. I don’t want to take on a lead character right now or anything. The cool thing about being an actress is you can be a chameleon and you can choose all of these interesting roles.”

The B-List Simpson’s new album drops on tax day April 15th. The music critics that have listen to the album probably are looking forward to their taxes more than listening to Jessica Simpson’s younger sister.
