Kerri Walsh, the best woman volleyball player on the planet who won gold last summer in China, has put her career on hold to start a family. Walsh gave birth to a baby boy this morning in LA. Joseph Michael Jennings arrived in the world just before 9 am. Both mother and newborn are said to be doing well.

Mariah Carey insists that she is not pregnant, and that she was simply wearing a bad outfit. The singer was photographed Sunday in a tight, peach dress with hubby Nick Cannon, which quickly prompted speculation that Carey was expecting.

US Weekly also contacted Mariah’s rep, who shot down the pregnancy rumors

“No, not true. Nick and Mariah spent Easter Sunday with family in southern California.”

Hallelujah! Can you imagine her still running around in skimpy clothes with a huge belly? I shudder at the thought.
