Whitney Houston, best know the past decade as a drug addled mess, is on the comeback trail. ‘The Voice’ is set to release her new album before years end just in time for the Christmas rush.

Clive Davis, her longtime friend and mentor, confirmed the news earlier this week saying:

“It’s really good. We’re looking to release the album in November.”

Hopefully 2008 will be the year of the big comeback from an artist who had so a many hits before Bobby Brown ruined her life.
