After a couple years off the road and weeks lounging around the beach in Costa Del Sol, Liam Gallagher fought back against the fat around his middle by pounding pavement.  The Oasis frontman was spotted jogging near his North London home this week in an effort to be rid of the paunch he developed during the leisurely holiday with his wife Nicole Appleton.

Liam’s new fitness kick comes just ahead of what the NME promises to be the band’s biggest, most massive world tour yet.  The band are rumored to be launching a 12-month tour of the UK before heading off around the world, for a world tour that may last 18-months or more.  The tour will kick-off with the release of the band’s seventh studio album, “Dig Out Your Soul” in early October.
