dallascast.JPGWhile we’re still left wondering if the “Dallas” movie will ever be made, the original cast of the series which ran from 1978 to 1991 will be getting together for a 30th anniversary reunion.  Several of the show’s key characters, including Patrick Duffy, Linda Gray, and Larry Hagman have already confirmed they’ll be attending the November 8th bash.

Hagman, 76, who played the infamous oil tycoon J.R. Ewing in the series, said that he is looking forward to the event:

“I may not be able to do the 40th,” said Hagman, 76, in an interview with The Dallas Morning News. “Thirty years is pretty good, and the show is still very popular.”

The reunion party will take place at the Southfork Ranch in suburban Parker, just north of Dallas.  It’ll be open to the public, and tickets go on sale on August 22.  They range in price from $100 to $1,000.  Also included in the event are fireworks, a country music concert, tours of the mansion, and a question-and-answer session with the cast.

Unfortunately Jock and Miss Ellie won’t be able to make it, they both passed away  long before the series ended.   Other cast members have yet to confirm their attendance publicly.
