Liam Gallagher is producing a new movie about his Fab Four heroes and wants A List actor Johnny Depp on board for a starring role. No, Depp won't play Lennon, McCartney, or even George Harrison. Gallagher explains to Q Magazine:
“The film script is done. It’s gonna blow people’s minds, man. I’m just waiting to find out when we choose the actors.
“I want Johnny Depp to play Derek Taylor. It’s got Johnny Depp written all over it, man."
Taylor was the press man for the The Beatles and the movie is based on the book The Longest Cocktail Party which depicts the bands foray into the business world after launching Apple Corp.
Depp and Gallagher's relationship dates back to the Mid-90's as the famous actor struck a friendship with the band and even lent his guitar work to a track on the bands album Be Here Now.
